Panel Discussion: Contracts and Artist Rights: What We Need to Know
Saturday, September 19th - 1:30-3PM
Georgia State University Student Center Ballroom

Kyle Anne Citrynell, head of the Intellectual Property Law Practice Group with Seiller Waterman LLC (Louisville, Kentucky), will discuss the Do's/Don'ts/Considerations in creating/reviewing artist contracts for exhibitions/commissions. She will provide artists with guidance about reading, developing and signing contracts, including protection for intellectual property rights.

Citrynell will also discuss how to identify, inventory, document, police and protect creative properties, and review artist rights under copyright and other intellectual property and copyright laws.

Following Ms. Citrynell's presentation there will be a panel discussion, moderated by Isaac Duncan III, with internationally renown sculptor John Henry and a question and answer session about contracts, artist rights, and problems.
